About: Ruiyan (Audrey) Huang is a high school student from Beijing, China and goes to Garrison Forest School in Owings Mills, MD. She was a visiting student/researcher in the WISE (Whiting Internships in Science & Engineering) partnership program between her high school has and JHU. Audrey is interested in majoring in Molecular Biology and Biomedical Engineering in college. She expanded her research experience in synthetic biology in the Kalhor Lab and was mentored by Rachel Dveirin.
