About: Maha Saleh was a high school student at the Academy For College And Career Exploration and a visiting researcher in the WISE (Whiting Internships in Science & Engineering) partnership program between her high school has and JHU. She was doing the WISE internship because she is interested in research but does not know where it would lead her yet. She wants to explore new topics and ideas. She was mentored by Rachel Dveirin. After the internship, she started her undergraduate studies at Hopkins, majoring in Biomedical Engineering.
