Jesse is a passionate physician-scientist working to enable new therapeutic approaches for pancreatic cancer. In his current role as a clinical and research fellow at Johns Hopkins University, he is focused on developing tools to explore dynamic processes in cancer biology with the ultimate goal of intercepting metastasis and drug resistance. Previously, he completed his internal medicine residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA and the MD/PhD program at New York University in the laboratory of Dafna Bar-Sagi during which he discovered a previously unknown cancer-promoting role for TGF-β in early pancreatic cancer development.
