Rachel recieved her B.Sc. in Genetics from Western University in London, Ontario, Canada in 2019. There, she studied avian ecoimmunology with Elizabeth MacDougall-Shackleton and also held a research assistant position at Environment Canada working on microbial source tracking projects with Tom Edge. She migrated to Hopkins in 2019 to join the Human Genetics program and is excited to contribute to emerging technologies in neurobiology. She is now a graduate student in Dr. Andrew McCallion’s lab.
